It’s not blonde, it’s faded pink

I’m Cathy White and I graduated from Canterbury Christ Church University in 2014 with a 1st Class BA in Creative & Professional Writing. Part of me dearly misses being at university, while part of me thinks, ‘thank fuck I have no more assignments to do’. All of me wishes more magazines and websites would pay writers in actual money and not ‘exposure’.

Since leaving university, I have been published a number of times online and in print, including publications such as:

  • Women’s Running
  • Writing Magazine
  • Funky Raw Magazine
  • Kent Life
  • Simply Vegan
  • Cook Vegetarian
  • Runner’s World
  • Practical Goats, Sheep & Alpacas
  • Cat World

I obviously haven’t been living off the proceeds of a handful of articles over the last few years, so various people and businesses have hired me for other writerly things such as:

  • Blogging (sponsored content on my blogs or writing for theirs)
  • Copywriting
  • Proofreading
  • Editing
  • Blogger Outreach
  • Transcribing
  • Ghostwriting

If you’d like to hire me for some word (or Word) wizardry, please contact me.

  1. Hi there

Gotta say I’m a big fan of your blog. I’ve begun A215 this year and have also started a blog. If you wanted to take a look, I’d be honoured.

love your blog, and your work. I’ve been studying with OU for over 5 years (psychology) but am starting A174 in Feb next year for my own enjoyment. I’ll follow it with A215 later on next year, so looking forward to reading your blog every day for inspiration until then!
